£1 Million InvestmentNovember 23, 2009
The Representative Body of the Church in Wales has made a loan to the college of £1.166 million to refurbish the buildings. This will allow the college to make the accommodation block ensuite, and to have internet access. There will also be disabled access to the first floor of the Administration Block, and a new common room and visitors lounge on the ground floor. The main door of the Administration Block will also have an entrance canopy and disabled access. This builds on the work done this summer, with a new kitchen, and disabled access to the chapel and the main door of the accommodation block.
The college is very grateful to the Representative Body for its support. The college will close to visitors for three months next summer. When it reopens in September 2010 it will have first class conference facilities.
